Chinese Bazi 八字, also known as the Four Pillars of Destiny, is a type of astrology that started in the Han Dynasty of China. The word Bazi literally means 8 words as a Bazi reading uses four sets of two-character “ganzhi” which is the yearly representation of the sixty-year sexagenary cycle (六十甲子) the Chinese used for recording time. A person’s Bazi chart will have four such pillars with each pillar representing the birth day, month, year and hour. The four pillars combined is believed to be able to map out a person’s life destiny and fate, with different characters of one’s Bazi representing different aspect’s of a person’s life (eg. career, money, love, health prospects etc.).

This reading involves an investigation into the natal chart energies of the two people that are the subjects of this reading. There is a technique called synastry that looks at how one person influences and impacts another. There is another technique called Composite chart which combines two people’s natal charts together to generate a third chart that helps us to understand the energies of the relationship itself. This reading can apply not only to two people in a romantic relationship but in other relationships such as for business partners and family members (eg. parent-child).

This reading helps you identify where in the world can support you with achieving different life goals or simply feel happy. It can be used for people contemplating either a permanent or temporary move to a new geographical location or even places to do business with.

I use two commonly used techniques called astrocartography that maps the world using your own birthchart. The chart allows you to see where different planetary lines run through in the world that suggests which location is good for pursuing different goals and dreams. A second technique will be used if you already have places in mind - I will draw up a relocated chart for the new location to understand what themes the location brings for you.

Money, just like other things in life, may have cycles of ebb and flow.
